There are so many things that have made our childhood awesome. One of those exciting things were spinning toys. These super interesting toys are still entertaining little ones in the form of Beyblade toys. These toys have the playing partner of the kids for a very long time. Some of us call it spinning tops, some battle tops, and some Beyblade.
The tops are originally developed by Takara and manufactured by Takara Tomy. It was first released in Japan in July 1999. The first versions of these toys were Metal Fusion. The rivers of the toys were different from those of today. The introduction of this plaything was first showed on Beyblade Anime Television series of the same name.
The tops are modeled after a similar type of top which is called beigoma. It was popular as a children’s toy beginning in the seventeenth century. The top was originally made by filling spiral seashells with sand and melted lead. Afterward, it was started to make out of cast iron.
